Where:

We've rented the Wurr Campsite #1 at Memorial Park in Loma Mar. 

Carpool from Palo Alto or San Francisco:

If you need a ride into Memorial Park, a carpool will meet at the Palo Alto Caltrain station at 12:10pm, and at the Civic Center Bart Station near UN Plaza at 11:40am.  If you need a ride, please let me know from where.  If you can offer a ride to someone else, please let us know as well.  Memorial Park charges each car $5 to enter the park.  Drivers who pickup players will have their car fee paid for them.  

Driving Here:

Be advised the San Mateo Park and Recs charges $5 per vehicle to enter the park.  This is not covered by registration, but i will pay for it for anyone who carpools players.  Please carpool and have a designated driver for each vehicle. 

It's a windy twisty drive from Palo Alto.  It will probably take about 40 minutes from Palo Alto depending on how crazy of a driver you are.  Give yourself plenty of time and enjoy the drive.  It's quite gorgeous.

From San Francisco and North, take I-280 South, Take exit 25 for W for Woodside Road CA-84    

• Turn Right onto Woodside Road, CA-84
• Slight right to stay on CA-84 W/La Honda Rd   3.2 mi

If you're coming from the South, take I-280 North, Take exit 24 for Sand Hill Rd

• Keep left  at the fork to continue toward Sand Hill Rd        0.3 mi
• Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Sand Hill Rd and merge onto Sand Hill Rd 2.3 mi
• Turn right at Portola Rd    0.8 mi
• Sharp left at CA-84 W/La Honda Rd

Now that you're on CA-84 W/La Honda Road...,

• Turn right to stay on CA-84 W/La Honda Rd    7.0 mi
• Lots of switchbacks going up into the mountains...

You'll pass through the small town of La Honda

Soon after you pass through the town,

• Turn left at Pescadero Rd    1.1 mi
• Stay on Pescadero Rd as it makes several tight turns
• Turn left at Wurr Rd. - FIRST PICTURE ; Following the signs for the Rosewood Glen and Pescadero Creek Park.  This is Wurr Drive, which leads to the Wurr Campsite in the back of the park. If you follow the signs to Memorial Park, that will take you to the main entrance far away from the Wurr Campsite.  This is not what you want.  
• Wurr Rd will turn right, then split into two directions.  Stay right.  SECOND PICTURE.  The Wurr campsite entrance will be on your right. Enter the campsite gate and follow the road until the end.
